We've recently updated the design of our own website. Following a complete revamp of our CMS we took the opportunity to update the website too.
Following a complete rewrite and update of our Content Management System (more about this in future articles), we have taken the opportunity to update our own website as we were plugging it in to the new CMS.
In fact there are so many changes to the old CMS that we're now calling it a Site Management System because you can change virtually everything to do with a website from the admin area.
Among the highlights are built-in cookie management, layout editor, handling of redirects for old pages, enhanced SEO (including the new json-ld for Google rich text results), image acquisition from a number of different sources and easier text editing to speed up content entry.
