Chagford
boasts a variety of well stocked shops and excellent eating places,
from inexpensive pub food to high class restaurants. Much of
the town is several centuries old and steeped in history. It
offers excellent facilities, including banks, post office, antiques
shops, specialist and local food retailers and the famous 'Aladdin's
Caves' of Webbers and Bowdens. A newly refurbished play park, an outdoor
swimming pool, bowling club and sports pavilion are all
close by.
Beechlands is ideally suited for walking, fishing, cycling, golfing
and horse riding holidays. DIY livery stabling and paddocks
are available here for accompanying horses and ponies. Access to the
Moor is just a short lane away. We are within easy reach of both of
Devon's fine coastlines.
Peaceful and secluded, the cottages have been developed from
the original granite stable block, and are to the side of the courtyard,
ensuring privacy and safety.
Visitors are welcome to use our surrounding land for recreation. Car
parking is handy and off the road on private hard standing.
